I just want need to get another view on this.
I have a plan. Its been baselined and tracked against. I had to add
a further 38 tasks equalling 508 hours. I have saved these tasks to
the baseline.
Prior to entering these tasks into the system, the physical % complete
of the plan was 25%, now I have entered these tasks and saved them to
the baseline, my physical % complete is 18% complete.
I would expect % work complete to do something like this as it works
out a ratio of actual work against baseline work however, should
physical % complete do this.
Or is this correct. is it saying, well prior to you inserting those
jobs, yes, you were 25% physically complete however, after adding
those extra jobs into the plan, you are now only 18% complete.
Only asking because typical management are questioning why the
physical % complete has dropped 7%.
Many Thanks
Chris
