Posting to Web changes htm to html

I am posting my files through FP2003 and at times my index.htm changes to
index.html. Does anyone know why this is happening or how do I stop it?

It's because the host server is apparently requiring index.html as the
default document. You can change your local index to html, or contact your
host to see if they will add index.htm to the default list.
