Preleveled tasks

In the Leveling Gantt view, I notice that each tasks has a "preleveled task"
bar above the task bar on the gantt chart. The preleveld tasks may have
different start and end days and times than the original. Can anyone tell me
what these are and how to manipulate the preleveled tasks?

Remove any leveling from the tasks and you will have the pre-leveled tasks.
The pre-leveled tasks are the "Original" before leveling was applied.

Hi,

Jack's explanation is true sometimes but not always.
Preleveled task is drawn from start AS IT WAS BEFORE YOUR LAST LEVELING
COMMAND to the finish idem.
So to really have the UNLEVELED situation rather than the previous one, you
have to EXPLICITLY perform clear leveling before Level Now. The implicit
leveling clearing does not reset preleveled dates.
