Printing to PDF

Yesterday I could print to PDF; today I can't. I did install Adobe Photoshop
Elements. Why that would keep me from printing to PDF from Publisher, I don't
know. I can print to PDF from other programs, such as Word. I reinstalled the
PDF print driver, went to the Adobe web site and installed all their updates.
This is making me crazy. Help!

Make sure that under Properties for your PDF driver, when you go to Adobe
PDF options, that "Do not send fonts to "Adobe PDF"" is not enabled.

I got ahold of Adobe and they were very helpful. I can't remember all of the
settings they told me, but one was the font item you mention. Then when you
select PDF as the printer, you also place a checkmark at Print to File, then
save as .ps file. Start PDF distiller and open the .ps file you just saved.
It will create the PDF file. Apparently, Adobe Acrobat 7.0 makes this more
automated, but I have version 6. I think it's only Publisher 2003 where this
is a problem. Whew!
