....used to have an option to under file menu to send email with file as a
message (not an attachment), but after a computer crash, reinstall... it is
no longer there? And, under "customize" I'm unable to add it back in... help?

Are you also running the latest version of Microsoft Outlook as well?
Publisher 2003 relies on Outlook for the HTML conversion. If you don't have
Outlook 2003 installed, install this. If you do have it installed, make sure
that it (or Outlook Express) are your default email clients (Tools > Options
in Outlook/OE).

If that doesn't work, do a detect and repair of office (Start > Settings >
Control Panel > Add/Remove programs > Office 2003 > Repair).

Brian, Thanks! Actually, I'm running outlook 2002. Should I upgrade to 2007
or try to find an older copy of the 2003 version (since I'm running Pub2003)?
Curious and thanks again!

Publisher 2003 needs Outlook 2003 or later or Outlook Express 6 or
later. If you set your default email client to Outlook Express, you
should be able to send a document in the message body.
