Publisher error when trying to print merge.

I get the error 'Publisher cannont continue printing because of an error.'
when trying to print merge an excel file into a publisher document. The
first 10 entries will print, but that's it. Same thing if I print to a file.
It happens with every merge i've done using different source files and
different documents. I have done every update available for Publisher 2003
and ran the repair tool in Publisher. Can anyone help with this.

Thanks Mary, unfortunately this didn't fix the problem. If the batch size
is set to any number it never prints anything. The error message is the
same....
