Hi
I am using MS Project to plan production in a manufacturing environment (not
ideal I know but it is the only tool I have).
I have come accross a problem that has me stumped when using the resource
graph.
The scenario is I have a task that takes 16 hours, allocated to one resource
and I have entered a duration of 2 days (we work an 8 hour day, therefore my
calendar is set to 8 hours). When I view this resource on the resource graph
it shows 16 hours per day, and there is no other work allocated to it.
I want the resource graph to show the work evenly, i.e. eight hours per day.
Alternativley if the task took 14 hours it should show 8 hours on day 1, and
six hours on day 2.
I would be delighted if someone can help me with this as it is really
hurting my brain (and my boss is annoying me about it!).
Thanks in advance
John
