"Submit" form information

I would like to add a form to my website that will email
the required information. I have the form laid out with
all of the appropriate field, I just have no idea how to
make it work.

Can anyone help me with this?

By "making it work", I assume you mean having it send you
an email with the data you fill in.

If so, let me make a few points:

1. you must be trying this on a website published to a
server that has Front Page Extensions installed (it will
not work on your disk based web, ie your PC, unless you
have server software set up on it),

2. if you have the above scenario and are still having
problems, has your web service provider enabled your
account for email transport?

If your host runs the FrontPage Server Extensions, just:

1. Right-click the Form.
2. Choose Form properties from the shortcut menu.
3. Select Send To, and then enter the address you want.
4. Click OK.

If you try this on your "live" site and nothing comes
through, ask you host to check the e-mail configuration in
the server extensions.

If your host doesn't provide the FrontPage Server
Extensions, they probably do provide a third-party form-to-
email component. Check their support pages for additional
information and sample code.

you will have to create an asp file to get the form
results.
Once you have the data, you can email the results using
CDONTS
Here is a sample......

I find it hard to get this to send to anyone on my
network. Try sending samples to a yahoo account etc.
