trouble installing access

I have a new computer with office 2003 professional installed. Access isn't
in my program menu. I went to add/remove programs, then change and then
selected the access check box. I got the progress bar and it appeared it was
installing. I got a message that software updates were installed. But
access isn't anywhere in my program files.

Did you select CUSTOMIZE? You might have to go into the Customize windows to
make sure that the items are really selected for install. Run it again and
then select Custom install and then Advanced where you select the items to
install and then you should have a big tree of all of the various things
which you can then set to RUN ALL FROM MY COMPUTER. And then you might need
to reboot afterwards.
