URGENT - NEED TO RESTORE GROOVE WORKSPACE ON VER 3.5

My laptop crashed and I need to restore the workspaces which was in Groove
version 3.5.

Would Microsoft have a copy of the workspace and if so, who do I request
invitation to the workspace.

Also, where are the Groove 3.5 workspaces stored?

Thank you for help - this is extremely urgent.

Microsoft don't keep copies of your workspaces. Their relay server merely
stores and forwards any changes.

I assume your workspaces were standard ones, as file-sharing ones are easily
seen. Groove stores them encrypted deep within the file structure. You
don't see them as anything you'd recognize. Aren't there any other members
who could re-invite you back in? If you can re-create your Groove account,
it will recognize the workspaces, but this means you would have to have
recently saved your account info as a file.

Maybe somebody more technically knowledgeable than I can help you.

This won't help you now, but you might want to consider an automated backup
product. I use GForce Backup; it is simple and works well. I have it set
to back up all my workspaces once a day. It takes only a few minutes.

Dear Revett,

Thank you for the response. I have my Groove Account and can restore the
original account. I am not sure that I can get someone to invite me as I was
the last one to have this on my machine.

While I understand that Microsoft relay the data, I assume that they would
have a backup, thus being able to help.

If anyone can assist, please do let me know - Information from this
workspace will be required by lawyers.

Thank you
