project summary task---Urgent! please

Hello! Everyone,

I have a project in project center with gantt view.
Project name: Test
StartDate: 01/01/2005
EndDate:06/01/2005
%work complete: 20%
Remaining Work: 80%

So the enddate will be changed.

How to represent in gantt view in PWA for this project. I have to do this
for all other 150 projets.

Please help!

With an end date in the past, the Gantt chart will show the project bar from
1/1/2005 to 6/1/2005. If your Gantt shows work complete, it will show a
black line 20% of the way thru. You don't have to do anything except
publish the plan to show this.

You need to update your plan. Since the end date is in the past and the
work is not done, you must schedule the remaining work for the future. In
Project Pro, go to Tools, Tracking, Update Project. Select the Reschedule
uncompleted work to start after option and enter in a valid date (usually
today or the date of last reporting cycle). Click OK. You'll see all
incomplete tasks rescheduled. Some task will be split.

Hope this helps.

If a project or task has an actual start date then Start=Actual Start. Same
thing for actual finish. Therefore, as long as you have started the
project, you are showing the project's actual start date. As long as you
have finished the project, you are showing the project's actual finish date.
