Urgent! Project Summary question

Hello! Everyone:

I have a requirement to change the Project summary bar to refect the progress.

Example: Project 1 -- Start date of 01/01/2005 and EndDate of 06/01/2005
with having only 20% complete.

When you see the Project summary bar style will show as 01/01/2005 -
06/01/2005. How to reflect the balance 80% of work and then the change finsh
date in the bar.

Please provide me an answer . I need this very urgent!

The correct answer is that you update all the subtasks correctly and the
Project Summary task will recalculate itself.
By updating correctly I mean setting the correct amount of actual work in
the actual time periods, forecasting the correct amount of remaining work,
moving any incomplete work forward so that it doesn't occur in the past
(there is a button to do this tools menu/tracking/update project).

There are ways to "cheat" but you are a project management professional, so
you should try and do it the right way.
