Word won't copy and paste files

Hi all.... If I go to file, open and then right click
on a file in that window and then click copy, I can't go
to any other folder and click paste as paste is grayed
out. This is on one machine in a classroom... Other
machines don't have this problem. It's not a virus as I
have all the current virus definitions... I think it's a
setting in Word and I can't find it.
