Can't get compressed e-mail back

Because of the size of my e-mail folders my computer was compacting them when
the power went off, when I stated it back up I've lost just over one years of
e-mail (inbox and outbox). I've looked for .pst files and get nothing.
Can anyone help?

Are you actually using Outlook or Outlook Express? And what version? See
Help-> About if you do not know

Cheers, thanks for your help

Outlook Express does not use .pst files. Search for .dbx files. Those are
the folders that contain your mail.
