I am part of a workspace, I have groove 2007 on both my laptop and desktop.
as of 12/23/08. It seams that we've been having trouble sending and
receiving data to the work spaces. No other software has been installed or
removed. Can no send messages, or other data. It just set's in the box
waiting to be sent. Every now and then things get updated, and it does not
show any other members online, when I know they are because we are using the
instant messaging between us.
Is the Groove server down? or being updated?

I just saw this thread (and the earlier one) about an hour ago, and alerted
IT. They are investigating whether there is a problem on the Relay servers.

I am having the same issue with my workspaces. I was able to synch using my
desktop but when I tried with my laptop, it says it is downloading the
workspaces but nothing is happening. Is there a problem with the Relay
servers?

Can you let us know if this a problem on the relay servers. If so, is there
an estimated time when this will be fixed.

I have a user experiencing the same issue as well. workspace synchronization
and presence information have been down since this morning. I have an open
ticket with MSFT pro support, but the Groove support team in Beverly MA seems
to be unavailable due to technical issues related to the weather.

With this many people having problems, I'm not discounting the idea of a
relay server issue, but I still have no confirmation of one, so clearly there
is nothing so obvious as a server being down. Are you using blugro3, as
others have mentioned? To check, under Options, open Communications Manager,
click Network Settings, and then look at the value for Relay Server URL.

Outside of your relay, there are other issues that might cause a problem
with fetching a workspace. Are you sure the computer that you are downloading
from is online in Groove, and that the workspace is under 2 GB in size?
