MS Word should let me save a backup of a file to a different driv.

When working on an important document it would be very useful if when I
select the backup option I also have the option of choosing what drive I want
the backup to go to. The importance of the backup is to provide protection
from a drive failure. If both the document and its backup are on the same
drive the protection is minimal. The only other option is to manually do a
file backup after closing the file.

Hi Will,

this group is about programming word.
If you are working on something really
very important, I wouldn't rely on any
automatic backup at all, but first create
versions, like doc-V01, doc-V02... and save
all of them on c:\, to d:\, to e:\, or whereever.
Need a macro for it?
