Retrieving .pst files

J

jc123

I had my old Outlook folders burned to a cd when left my old job and tried to view them in Outlook on my laptop but it didn't work. Then realised needed to copy the folders to my hard-drive to take off the 'read-only' permission. I've done that and I don't get an error message anymore but it still doesn't work!

I tried opening a folder in Outlook but nothing seems to get loaded in to my outlook. I know the folders aren't empty as ie. the 'contact' folder is 32.0 kb so know it's not empty. Any ideas why it doesn't work? I really need to access these files...

Thanks so much for any help you can provide...

Hi,

The .PST file you are referencing appears to be an empty file. The size of an empty .PST is 32k.
