What are the right/best ways to track a project when it comes to reporting

Ive baseline schedule and started entering actaul start and finish , which
only tells me
if its 0% or 100% by entering the actual end date.Is there any way i can say
that the
tasks have completed 10% or 20% or 50% etc.

Thanks.)
