What version of Adobe do I use with Publisher 2003?

I am trying to send a newsletter from Pub 2003. But I only have the free
download version of Adobe and I seem to have compatibility issues. I can
save the Pub. file as PDF but when I try to open it I get the error message:
"Adobe Reader 7 has encountered aproblem and needs to close." and I can
choose to send an error report. This only happens with a file containing
pages 1 and 2 of my newsletter. I saved it in PDF with only page 1 there's no
problem. Any ideas?

Just wondering how you are saving as .pdf?

What you have is Reader, not Acrobat. All you can do is view a .pdf file
with that.

I just needed to save Publisher 2003 draft concert programs to pdf
format to send out for review by the artists. I went with DocuDesk
Pro, $30. Shows up as a printer in the printer list, then prompts for
a location and file name. It also has some security features.

All PDF writers show up as printers. What are the security issues? Are you
getting an error?

Pardon the bad syntax in my post. It is more accurately termed
document protection.

"Protect your content
Set permissions to control what can be done with your published
content. Disable printing, copying and modification of your PDF files
to more tightly control what is done with your documents."
