Jocelyn,
Thank you. Now here is the situation. THe original docs in that file came
from Win 98 and office 2000 that is no longer around. I want to restore them
in to XP home. Will that be an issue and is there a way to open those .PST
files so that I can just copy and paste the emails I want in to my inbox and
other various folders in my new office 2003? Please advise and thank you.

The article I sent you to should tell you how to open your old .PST files in
Outlook 2003. You might also want to look at
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm for a full list of Outlook files,
where they're stored and what they do.
