Word 2003 File Order

R

Randall

I have been searching but can not figure out what I did.
I somehow managed to reverse the order of my files and folders
in my word folder.

When I try and open a file - my folders used to be in alphabetical
order A to Z and then the files followed.

Now the files are first starting with Z and going to A, followed
by my folders in reverse order also.

I do not know what I did and can not figure out how to correct
what I consider a mess. Drives me nuts! Any help appreciated.
Thanks.

This might help.

In the
File > Open
dialog box, there are two pull-down lists under the blue title bar toward
the right. The right-most says "Tools" but don't use that. Use the one just
to the left (the "Views" pull-down) and click on "Details." Then you’ll see
a list with headers. Each time you click on the "Name" header the order is
reversed.

That did it. Thanks very much. Simple once known.
